GGLS 2008 Schedule of Events
The Summer Open House is Sunday June 22
The Fall Open House is Sunday October 19
Because of track construction the meets have been combined with the public open house and are for one day only.
These events are open to the public and are a good time for any interested
people to get up close and personal with those of us in the live steam hobby.
There will be many operating steam engines, work in progress and static
displays.
Please note that a valid boiler certificate is required to run an engine at the
meets. The saftey inspectors would prefer to have club members done before the
meets and will be available to test any guests that do not have a valid
certificate from another club.
